CSA Membership
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture, and it aims to give farmers and their community the best deal possible.
Farms need the most support at the beginning of the season, when there's nothing to sell but lots to buy, like seeds, fertilizer, and tools.
Members of CSA farms get a season's worth of produce distributed weekly.
Our CSA Membership runs for 25 weeks, from the first week of June to the week before Thanksgiving.
Example shares you could receive
Early Season
Bag of mixed salad greens
Bunch of red radishes
Bunch of arugula
Bunch of kale
Box of sugar snap peas
Bunch of cilantro
Join the Community: by becoming a CSA member, you become part of a community of people who support local business, local agriculture, and good, honest practices.
Vacation Friendly: if you're going to miss a week or two, I'll work with you to either double your produce for the next week, tack on a pick up at the end of the season, arrange for a friend to pick up for you, or donate your share to a local food bank or soup kitchen.
Family-Sized: a CSA Membership provides the right amount of produce for a 2-5 person family, depending on your eating habits.
What to expect: 6-8 distinct "units" of produce (a unit being a bunch, a bag, a pound, etc.) each week, picked fresh and properly stored before you receive it.
Variety each week: I aim to provide you with a bounty of produce each week and promise to vary what you receive so your veggies don't end up in a pile in the back of your fridge.
Choose pick-up or delivery: I will work with you to find the best schedule and pick-up or delivery options for you.

By joining a CSA membership, you assume some risk for what may happen during this farming season.
You also reap the bounty when we get great yields!
Being a CSA member means you've "bought in" to the farm and you're along for the ride, up or down.
I am to provide you with consistency and variety to keep you coming back season after season.
